I’m Jennifer Pentland, a self-taught artist living in New England, where the changing seasons continually inspire my work. When I’m not painting, I enjoy time with my husband, a cup of coffee, long walks in nature, and exploring with my camera. I find beauty in the simple moments that often become the heart of my paintings.
Nature is my greatest muse, but I paint a variety of subjects. I paint not only what I see but what I feel, the light through the seasons and the beauty in everyday moments. Through photography, I study those changing landscapes, often finding inspiration that later returns to the canvas.
My style blends abstract and contemporary influences, guided by emotion and intuition. Some works are serene, others bold, each telling its own story.
Many of my pieces are tied to charitable causes, reflecting my belief that art can uplift, inspire, and give back.
Most of my originals are sold locally, but select works are available through my eBay shop for those who wish to bring a piece into their collection.
Health challenges have changed the way I create and, at times, what I’m able to create, but art and photography continue to be an important part of my life. For those interested, I’ve shared more about that journey here.
